Facts About The Pale Horse of Revelation or the Apocalypse in the End-times

Have you ever wondered about the Apocalypse but found it too much. Learn in a short, simple manner of the Four Horses of the Book of Revelation and choose wisely.

In reading and understanding this second brief overview of what many called the End-times or the Apocalypse, the reader must bear in mind that this is one book which is not necessarily meant to be simply read like a magazine.   It is meant to be meditated on while earnestly searching one’s soul as to one’s concept of God. This is the way it was for the imprisoned and tortured John, the Apostle, Disciple of the risen Christ. Living out his last years on the Isle of Patmos, he journaled that he was “in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, or the first day of the week.”

It is a journey into the supernatural world of the spirit and will be revealed to those who are truly on a quest to find out “the things which shall shortly come to pass.”  Then be prepared for what will follow.

The word, Revelation, says it all. It is something which has been kept hidden until a specific time of unveiling to those who are truly searching their souls and have found their soul at unease.

What Was Revealed To John

What Jesus Christ Himself revealed to John in this Revelation was communicated to him through evidently supernatural, Divine beings known as the cherubim.

"I watched as the Lamb, [recognized as the sacrificed Lamb Jesus Christ Himself], opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, "Come and see!" I looked, and there before me was a white horse!"

So unfolds the Revelation vision, as he sees a sequence of four horses each with a different color and a different End-times assignment. Each horse had a rider on it with a different tool or instrument in their hand. There was a white horse, followed by a black horse, which was then followed by a red horse. The last one which followed was a pale, bluish-colored horse.

The White Horse - Revelation 6:1,2

Depending on the viewpoint of the reader, or the seeker, the rider on the white horse carries with him a bow, without an arrow curiously, and a crown. The rider is set out to conquer and impose his mindset upon the masses in the end-times -- by force if necessary.   However, because it carries an arrowless bow and not a sword, it is highly unlikely that it is The Christ. Rather, one of many mini “anti-christs” claiming to be the way for the masses.

The Red Horse - Revelation 6:3-4

As described in several translations, this fiery red horse with its rider who carried a great, huge sword had the assignment to bring unrest, upheaval and even war to mankind. Civil unrest, demonstrations, anarchy, rioting and revolution all form part of this red horse’s agenda to rob earth of her peace. A complete breakdown of law and order.

The Black Horse - Revelation 6:5-6

In the Bible, a balance or scale represents not only commerce and economy but justice and judgement as well. This black horse’s rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, "A quart of wheat for a day's wages, and three quarts of barley for a day's wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!"

Economic upheaval - hyperinflation or depression or whatever name you choose to give it predominates and everything that comes with it. Foreclosures, food shortages, run on the banks, governments fiscal house in default and soup lines if there is soup to be found. The end result for many is famine.

The Pale Horse - Revelation 6:7-8

The horse had been bruised and was emaciated. On it sat Death and was quickly followed by Hell. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine, pestilence and plague and by the wild beasts of the earth. It is a compilation of all the others horses and what they bring with them in during the Apocalypse and the end-times.

Nothing in the Revelation is to be taken literally and/or symbolically. But it is to be meditated on and considered. Those horses are representations of the winds of different spirits which are now become unleashed and begun their ride throughout the earth.

It is also a kind of “code” to those who are on a vision quest to find their purpose in life and their path to find it. And it is their salvation.

To others, it the End-times Book of Revelation; otherwise known as the Apocalypse. It is simply one of several end of days myths prevalent in other cultures and belief systems -- mere rubbish.

Whatever the end-times Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, or the Apocalypse may mean to you, choose wisely and you will see the things that are shortly to come to pass. “Behold, the Pale Horse.”

Good! I was just researching the "pale horse" this morning and one site said that "pale" meant sickly green or gray. Kind of puts it in perspective.

I have also read about Kalki, (I can not recall the color of his horse) the white avatar who will come to save devotees who chants the holy names of God. Great writing on the end-times.

As always....very good! If everyone would just look around, they may realize the answer to many of there wounder. Roger
